How to mark a RentPassport® as complete
Updated over 10 months ago

This article will explain how you can mark a RentPassport as complete and confirm if the applicant is progressing in the tenancy application or not.

This will help you better organise all the connected RentPassports and allow you to focus on the important applicants.

Below are the steps you need to take to mark a RentPassport as complete:

Step 1: Ensure you are on the RentPassport you would like to change the status for

Step 2: At the very top of this page you will see the 'Tenant Status'. When you request a RentPassport, the default will always be 'Screening'.

Click "Mark as complete"

Note: You can do this same process from the list view.

Step 3: You will see a pop-up asking you if the tenant is progressing in the next stage of the tenancy application or not.

  • If they are unsuccessful, select "No" and this should be reflected on the tenant status. This has replaced our previous 'Archive' process.

  • If they are progressing, select "Yes" and move on to the next step.

Step 4: Now you can include some information about the tenancy, such as the move-in date, the move-in address and whether bills are included.

Note: This is not a mandatory step in the process, if you wish to exclude this information, you can leave them blank and save the status change only.

This process is now complete and you will see the Tenant Status change to 'Progressing'. To see how you can change a tenant status, please click here.
