Below we have outlined the various screening results and labels you will see within an applicant's RentPassport. We have provided you with a brief summary of the result and labels but if you require further explanation, please do not hesitate in contacting our referencing team and we can talk you through what you see.

Screening Results

Here are all the overall screening results for a RentPassport and what they mean:

NOT STARTED

The renter has not started completing any of the sections of their RentPassport.

IN PROGRESS

This renter is still in the process of completing their RentPassport.

ACCEPT

This renter has completed all the sections of their RentPassport and we have not found any issues.

ACCEPT with considerations

This person has completed all the sections of their RentPassport and we have highlighted a few issues which you should consider before proceeding.

HIGH RISK

This renter has completed all the sections of their RentPassport and we have found some issues, which indicate the renter is a potential risk.

Elements within the RentPassport®

Credit Check

On a RentPassport, we will also display where they fall in the Experian credit rating. These range from:

The result will be highlighted in blue as detailed above and all other ratings will be greyed out. Very Poor will be yellow or red depending on the individual's adverse financial history.

Verifications

We will also display how an applicant has verified their income. You will see either Open Banking or Manual Upload in these sections next to the status.

Screening results

A RentPassport with an Accept with considerations or High-Risk status will also provide you with a summary box detailing information which requires your attention. Please see the examples below:
